One of the clubs of this school is BASIC. Brothers and Sisters in Christ gave Cat Tracks the scoop about their group for the ‘15-’16 year. Co-presidents senior Thomas Yurko and sophomore Abby Hammye said there are 20 members involved. The other officers include juniors Braden Lawson as the STUCO rep, and Seth Pollet as secretary/treasurer. They recently helped sponsor the activity of “See You At The Pole.” This is where students come together outside and pray. The club is going to be having a Christmas party later this year. They will play games, socialize, and eat lots of food. There is also a possibility of them going to the “Voice of the Martyrs” like they did last year, said Abby Hammye. This club meets every Thursday evening at 7:30 PM. The meetings are held at sponsor Judy Hutson’s house. Abby Hammye said, “Everyone is welcome to join us. We have people from other towns that come sometimes. “It is a really fun atmosphere to be around. We talk about Jesus and have a good time.” Be sure and attended the next BASIC meeting to experience their activities for yourself and others.
