Lots of free time can lead to productive activities

I don’t know about you, but I spend way too much time on my phone. Sometimes I don’t think I have anything better to do, so I just scroll through Tik Tok when I could be doing something productive. Here are a few things to do instead of sitting in your room on your phone.

First of all, make sure your homework is done. We both know that geometry paper isn’t going to do itself, so you might as well get started before you forget about it.

After you’ve made sure all your missing assignments are done, try going outside. You’d be amazed at what some fresh air can do for the soul. You can try going for a walk (or a run if you want to be an overachiever) or you can just sit in your back yard. I highly recommend purchasing hammock if you want to just relax but still want to be in the sunshine.

If the weather is bad or you just don’t want to go outside, you can always try cleaning your room.

Sometimes when I’m bored, I like to bake cookies. Find a new recipe for a dish that sounds good. It doesn’t matter  you belong on “Master Chef” or “Worst Cooks in America”; it can be fun to try new things.

If you want to do something more relaxed when you’re bored, I suggest reading a book or taking a bubble bath. You could even read a book while taking a bubble bath. Another thing you could do is hang out with your friends. You could also play board games with your family.

My point is there are only 24 hours in a day, so just make the most of them.
